Passion for pets, and for creating the perfect world in which they can live and interact with us as their owners. Each one of us at Mercury Pets is a lifelong pets enthusiast, who live, sleep and breathe this same passion.
We have some amazingly knowledgeable people on our team, who know pretty much everything their is to know about spiders to horses, fish to cats. Whatever animal it is that you’re interested in, I think it’s fair enough to say that we’ve got you covered!

Our Story
My name’s Martin Williams, and I founded this site in 2021. I’ve been a lifelong pet lover.
My own journey started when I won a goldfish at a school fair about 35 years ago. I won it by bouncing a ping-pong ball into a jar!
From then on the whole pet thing ballooned, and I’ve had countless dogs, birds, and reptiles in particular.
I now have a horse-made daughter, and a spider-obsessed son to share these passions with.
I actually worked as a teacher for about 12 years, and now as an educational consultant. I run a teacher training business, that you can check out at earlyimpactlearning.com. I’ve always been fascinated by the link between humans and animals, and what either can tell us about the other.
I’ve been really lucky to build a small but fantastic team of high-quality writers that have an unbelievable knowledge of what they’re writing about.
